This site has been in need of a major facelift for a long time, I just hadn’t gotten around to it…until today.

While researching different JavaScript web frameworks, I stumbled upon Astro. I was looking for something fast, easy to learn, and highly customizable. Astro ticked all of those boxes. I especially like how clean the project structure is and how the components work together so seamlessly.

For the site’s design, I wanted a vaporwave inspired aesthetic as I’m a big fan of the style. I got a hand from GitHub Copilot for the styling, and it was amazing to see the AI Agent do its thing. It did a pretty solid job interpreting my vision, though I had to nudge it in the right direction a few times!

It was a painless experience overall and I look forward to adding more content to the site soon!
